Alliance For International Reforestation Inc

The Alliance for International Reforestation (AIR), founded in 1991 by Dr. Anne Hallum, implements educational programs, reforestation, and regenerative farming methods across Guatemala and Nicaragua to protect water sources, build soil health, prevent erosion and mudslides, reduce lung disease, and improve crop nutrition. The organization has planted more than 7 million native trees and trained thousands of farm families in regenerative agroforestry through a five-year training program, staffed entirely by Guatemalan professionals. AIR also builds fuel-efficient stoves to cut wood consumption and hosts week-long volunteer mission trips.
