Alliance For The Mystic River Watershed Inc

The Alliance for the Mystic River Watershed is a coalition of southeastern Connecticut towns (Groton, Ledyard, North Stonington, and Stonington) together with the Eastern Pequot and Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nations, working across jurisdictional boundaries to protect and restore the Mystic River watershed. It runs initiatives such as a Watershed Regeneration Action Plan, a River Herring Rebound project, and a Water Quality Working Group, alongside youth and community programs. The Alliance frames its work around treating the watershed with respect, reciprocity, responsibility, and restraint rather than ownership.
