Altamaha Riverkeeper is a grassroots organization dedicated to the protection, defense, and restoration of Georgia's largest river system, the 137-mile Altamaha and its tributaries, the Ocmulgee, Oconee, and Ohoopee Rivers. It works through river monitoring, public education, and community engagement, and provides a mechanism for the public to report pollution and water quality problems.
