Amazon Frontlines

Amazon Frontlines builds political and cultural power alongside Indigenous peoples in Ecuador and Peru to permanently protect the Amazon rainforest and defend indigenous rights, combining legal action, community land patrols, water infrastructure, and storytelling. It reports having secured legal victories protecting nearly 300,000 hectares from extraction (including blocking oil drilling in Yasuni National Park), installed over 1,100 water systems for more than 10,000 people, and trained indigenous patrols covering over 1 million hectares.
