American Shore And Beach Preservation Association
The American Shore and Beach Preservation Association (ASBPA) is a national nonprofit, founded in 1926 and based in Beaufort, SC, that unites people across science, policy, and practice to preserve U.S. shores and beaches. It recognizes and supports coastal restoration projects through awards programs, operates through regional chapters, and publishes the Shore & Beach journal to advance coastal management knowledge.
