Anacostia Watershed Society Inc

Anacostia Watershed Society is a Bladensburg, MD-based nonprofit whose mission is to protect and restore the Anacostia watershed for the benefit of current and future generations. It works across policy advocacy, field conservation and restoration (water quality monitoring, habitat restoration, invasive species and trash removal), education programs for youth and adults, and community volunteer events, while also addressing the historical environmental justice impacts on DC's Black communities.
