Ancient Oaks Foundation

Ancient Oaks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Lake Zurich, Illinois, dedicated to preserving local oak woodlands and natural areas through education, volunteerism, funding, and long-term planning. Grown out of a 2007 conservation group, it restores habitat by removing invasive species like buckthorn and honeysuckle and reintroducing native vegetation across several Lake Zurich natural areas, while running community education and volunteer programs such as bird box monitoring and guided nature walks.
