Appalachian Trail Conservancy

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) is a nonprofit dedicated to protecting the Appalachian Trail, the world's longest hiking-only trail, running from Maine to Georgia. Its mission is to protect the trail and its landscape through proactive conservation and expert management while fostering respect and support for it as a national treasure, through land conservation, volunteer-driven trail maintenance, and an ongoing Centennial Campaign.
