Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy

Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy conserves, protects, and stewards natural open space across Los Angeles County to enhance connectivity and biodiversity, reconnecting fragmented urban habitats through wildlife corridors for mammals, birds, butterflies, and native plants. Based in Pasadena, it manages 19 properties totaling over 92 acres across six preserves in Altadena, Pasadena, Glendale, and La Crescenta, restoring native habitat and engaging local communities. Founded in 2000 as a grassroots group in Altadena, it also runs programs such as the Monarch Recovery Project, Backyard Biodiversity initiative, and urban wildlife research.
