Artificial Reef Foundation

The Artificial Reef Foundation, founded on Florida's Space Coast, designs and deploys engineered concrete reef modules cast with crevices and textures that mimic natural rock formations, placing them at permitted GPS coordinates in 15-80 feet of water. It operates across the Florida Atlantic Coast, Gulf of Mexico, Pacific Northwest, and Alaska, working with fish and wildlife biologists to plan reef placement and using dive teams and underwater cameras to monitor habitat use for funders and regulatory partners.
