Ascutney Mountain Audubon Society

Ascutney Mountain Audubon Society (AMAS) is a local Audubon chapter serving 18 Vermont towns and 8 New Hampshire communities around Mount Ascutney, working to promote enjoyment, appreciation, and conservation of nature through education, habitat protection, and advocacy. It protects critical habitats such as heron rookeries, wetlands, and grasslands, and runs community programs including field trips, the Herricks Cove Wildlife Festival, and Christmas Bird Counts.
