Audubon of the Western Everglades

Audubon Western Everglades is an independent nonprofit founded in 1961 that protects and restores Southwest Florida's natural resources and biodiversity through science-based policy, habitat stewardship, and community engagement. Based in Naples, it works on rural land and wetlands protection, shorebird and burrowing owl monitoring, and gopher tortoise research, and runs educational and volunteer programs for the community.
