Denver Audubon is an independent local chapter of the National Audubon Society that has worked since 1969 to protect birds, other wildlife, and their habitats across the Denver metro area through education, conservation, and research. Its programs include community science projects like bird counts and bluebird monitoring, youth and adult education, nature camps, and habitat restoration, along with research grants supporting local conservation work.
