Back Country Land Trust preserves rural, scenic, biological, and cultural lands in eastern San Diego County, working through property acquisition, conservation easements, and ongoing habitat stewardship and monitoring. Founded in 1991, the organization has preserved and manages thousands of acres of San Diego backcountry, focusing on wildlife habitat, wildfire risk reduction, and clean air and water for surrounding communities.
