Backcountry Hunters and Anglers

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is a North American conservation organization describing itself as "The Voice for our wild public lands, waters, and wildlife," working to defend public land access, conserve critical fish and wildlife habitat, and promote fair chase hunting and fishing principles. Organized into chapters across the U.S. and Canada, it combines policy advocacy with on-the-ground stewardship work like fence removal, trail maintenance, and native vegetation planting, and publishes the quarterly Backcountry Journal for members.
