Bahamas Marine Ecocentre

Bahamas Marine EcoCentre is a nonprofit that runs education, research, and art programs from its Darby Island Research Station to foster environmental stewardship and ocean literacy around Bahamian land and seascapes. Its education programs range from youth summer camps to seminars and courses for local and international students, and it administers the Alf Thompson Memorial Scholarship, which funds internships for Bahamian students and early-career scientists doing hands-on research.
