Bay Point Island Foundation

The Bay Point Island Foundation works to foster conservation, field research, eco-education, and best practices in eco-tourism to preserve the Lowcountry and Bay Point Island, a 1,400-acre barrier island near Hilton Head, South Carolina with marshes, maritime forest, dunes, and beaches supporting shorebirds and loggerhead sea turtles. It runs research and monitoring programs and community events such as an annual art auction and an Earth Weekend beach cleanup.
