Bear Lake Preservation Association Inc

Since 1991, the Bear Lake Preservation Association (BLPA) has worked to preserve the Bear Lakes watershed near Apopka/Altamonte Springs, Florida, representing residents of Lake Asher, Bear Lake, Little Bear Lake, and Cub Lake. The all-volunteer group provides environmental and civic stewardship through monthly water quality monitoring submitted to the University of Florida IFAS LAKEWATCH program, public education, and engagement with Seminole County and SJRWMD officials on behalf of lake residents.
