The Bertsch Hokendauqua Catasauqua Watershed Association is a volunteer-led community group protecting the streams and tributaries of the Lehigh River between Catasauqua Borough and the Lehigh Gap, an area spanning roughly 80 square miles across ten municipalities in eastern Lehigh and northwestern Northampton Counties, Pennsylvania. It carries out riparian restoration projects like streambank tree plantings, organizes stream cleanups, and runs community education programs on watershed and water-quality issues.
