Blacklick Creek Watershed Association Inc

Blacklick Creek Watershed Association is a volunteer-driven nonprofit formed in 1993 to restore and protect water quality across the roughly 420-square-mile Blacklick Creek watershed in Indiana and Cambria Counties, Pennsylvania. It works with government agencies and private industry to combat acid mine drainage, building and maintaining passive treatment systems on tributaries like Coal Pit Run, Laurel Run, and Yellow Creek. Stream segments that ran orange and lifeless in 1993 now run clear and support fish populations as a result of its work.
