Block Island Conservancy

An accredited land trust on Block Island, Rhode Island, working since 1972 to protect the island's natural heritage through conservation easements and stewardship of trails and preserves such as the Attwood Trail, Ball Loop, Harrison Trail, Mitchell Farm, and Win Dodge Preserve. It also runs summer nature education programs, an Adopt-A-Trail stewardship initiative, and community efforts like a composting pilot with the Town of New Shoreham and work to reduce single-use plastic pollution.
