BlueCommons is a nonprofit 'Blue Bank' headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, that deploys and recycles capital through four revolving funds to finance water conservation and restoration projects in and around the Colorado River Basin, including small-farm water savings in the Mexicali Valley, industrial cooling-water conservation, beaver-based watershed restoration, and tribal water/climate infrastructure. As of its reporting, it has disbursed or committed $4.7 million to on-the-ground partners.
