Brannick Institute

The Brannick Institute is a Tucson-founded initiative dedicated to rangeland preservation, established to "provide facilities and opportunities for education and research, with an emphasis on environmental preservation, rangeland conservation, regenerative low-impact agriculture and creating sustainable communities." It centers on The Mare Pasture, a sustainable-community project on family rangeland in northern Cochise County, Arizona originally settled by Brannick Riggs, and aims to host University of Arizona extension classes and educational programs in ecology, architecture, and agro-tourism.
