Briar Creek Association For Watershed Solutions

Briar Creek Association for Watershed Solutions (BCAWS) is a volunteer watershed group operating out of Columbia County, Pennsylvania (hosted by the Columbia County Conservation District, which it partners with) whose mission is to build partnerships that promote awareness and action toward preserving Briar Creek and, by extension, the greater Chesapeake Bay Watershed. It holds monthly meetings, runs educational programs on topics like invasive species and rain gardens, and works on habitat improvement, coldwater conservation, and riparian buffer restoration projects.
