Buckeye Brook Coalition

Buckeye Brook Coalition is a state-designated watershed council working to protect Buckeye Brook and its watershed in Warwick, Rhode Island, a self-sustaining spawning ground for blue back herring and alewives with no fish ladders to aid their migration. It organizes water quality monitoring with URI Watershed Watch, brook cleanups, habitat protection, and policy advocacy, backed by groups including Save The Bay and the Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association.
