Buena Vista Audubon Society

Buena Vista Audubon Society is a San Diego County chapter of the National Audubon Society based in Oceanside, California, with a Nature Center at the Buena Vista Lagoon. It works to protect and preserve the region's birds, biodiversity, and threatened habitats through advocacy, education, and habitat restoration -- including wetlands and creek restoration and conservation work on grasslands and endangered species -- alongside guided nature walks, school visits, youth nature clubs, and free public programs.
