California Rangeland Trust

California Rangeland Trust is the largest land trust in the state, founded in 1998 to conserve California's working rangelands and the air, water, wildlife, and local food production they support. It facilitates conservation easements with ranchers across more than 80 locations statewide (including Plumas, Merced, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Tuolumne, Napa, and Fresno counties), monitors conserved properties, and has permanently protected over 100 ranches totaling more than 306,000 acres.
