Captina Conservancy

Captina Conservancy is a Barnesville, Ohio-based 501(c)(3) land trust, founded in 2010 and accredited by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, that works to promote, preserve, and protect the biodiversity, natural beauty, and environmental health of the Captina Creek and regional watersheds. It manages over 3,000 acres through conservation easements, stewardship agreements, and direct ownership, including trails and refuges such as Rock River Refuge, Dysart Woods, and Marvin's Rest, and runs wildlife monitoring and community events like the Duck Dash and wildflower walks.
