The Carbon Underground is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit working to accelerate the adoption of regenerative agriculture at scale to help reverse the climate crisis. It promotes regenerative farming and ranching practices for their soil-health, food-security, and carbon-sequestration benefits, running initiatives such as the Soil Carbon Initiative (a regenerative-agriculture measurement standard) and the Adopt-A-Meter program, while partnering with businesses, nonprofits, and farmers globally.
