Cawaco Resource Conservation And Development Area

Cawaco RC&D is a Resource Conservation and Development council serving Blount, Chilton, Jefferson, Shelby, and Walker counties in Central Alabama, working to advance conservation, development, and proper use of the area's natural and community resources. It administers competitive grants to towns and nonprofits, implements habitat and water quality conservation practices, and supports initiatives like tree planting and community gardens.
