Chalfant Run Thompson Run Watershed Association

The Chalfant Run/Thompson Run Watershed Association is a group of neighbors in the eastern Pittsburgh suburbs (Penn Hills, Monroeville, Wilkins Township, and several boroughs) working to protect and clean up the streams in their 17.89-square-mile watershed. The 33-plus miles of Chalfant Run and Thompson Run feed into Turtle Creek and eventually the Monongahela and Ohio Rivers, which supply drinking water to over five million people.
