Chama Peak Land Alliance

Chama Peak Land Alliance is a coalition of conservation-minded private landowners practicing land, water, and wildlife stewardship across a 1.4-million-acre region of southern Colorado and northern New Mexico, spanning the headwaters of the San Juan and Rio Grande rivers. Current membership covers roughly 200,000 acres connecting public national forests and tribal lands, with a focus on water quality, habitat connectivity, and species such as lynx, cutthroat trout, and bighorn sheep.
