Charleston Natural History Society

The Charleston Natural History Society is the South Carolina lowcountry chapter of the National Audubon Society, serving Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties since 1970. It promotes awareness, appreciation, and conservation of the natural environment through field trips, lectures, conservation projects such as longleaf pine restoration at the McAlhany Preserve, and events like the annual Christmas Bird Count and Spring Birdathon.
