Chattahoochee Riverkeeper works to ensure there is enough clean water in the Chattahoochee River now and for future generations, patrolling the river, monitoring water quality, and reviewing permits to hold polluters accountable. Operating since 1994 across the Metro Atlanta, Middle Chattahoochee, and headwaters regions, it educates students, homeowners, and policymakers through programs like the Floating Classroom and Swim Guide, and advocates for water-protective legislation.
