Chestnut Grove Foundation

The Chestnut Grove Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in 2004 that supports environmental and heritage research, education, and public-awareness programs in Manor Township, Pennsylvania, an area named for the groves of American chestnut trees that once covered the Susquehanna River Hills. With no paid staff, it channels donations directly into partner programs, working with groups such as the Washington Boro Society for Susquehanna River Heritage, Lancaster County Parks' Shutt's Environmental Center, and Manor Township Parks & Recreation, and sponsors the Lancaster County Envirothon.
