Citizens United for Resources & the Environment (CURE) is a Southern California nonprofit founded in 1997 that works across Riverside, San Bernardino, and Imperial counties to hold government land-use and natural resource decisions accountable. It combines independent research, advocacy, and litigation to oppose developments that deplete resources or threaten public health, with particular expertise in water transfer impacts, Salton Sea conservation, and flood safety. CURE also mediates land-use disputes and holds conservation easements and land in trust.
