Coalition For Sonoran Desert Protection

The Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection is a Tucson, Arizona-based nonprofit founded in 1998, uniting nearly 30 environmental and community organizations to protect the biodiversity of the Sonoran Desert in southern Arizona through science-based advocacy, education, and collaboration. It led the community effort behind the 2000 designation of Ironwood Forest National Monument and helped secure the Sonoran Desert's first wildlife crossing bridge on Oracle Road, completed in 2016.
