Coastal Cutthroat Coalition

Coastal Cutthroat Coalition is dedicated to the science and management of wild coastal cutthroat trout, a native fish ranging from northern California to south-central Alaska. Based in Washington's South Puget Sound region, it coordinates volunteer-led stock assessments and research on spawn timing, marine distribution, and parasites, partnering with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, universities, and shellfish companies to fill research gaps for a species that generates over 20,000 angler trips and roughly $1.1 million in economic value annually in the state.
