Collective Oyster Recycling & Restoration Foundation

CORR (Collective Oyster Recycling & Restoration) runs a statewide shell recovery and recycling network in Connecticut, collecting discarded oyster shells from restaurants, seafood businesses, and events across communities including Essex, Middletown, New Haven, Bridgeport, and Hartford. The cleaned, cured shells are used to restore oyster reefs in Long Island Sound, rebuilding shellfish habitat that filters water and helps buffer the coast from storm surge.
