Community Conservation Inc

Community Conservation Inc., based in Viroqua, Wisconsin, catalyzes and supports community-based natural resource conservation, working with local people to manage and conserve resources within their own social, cultural, and economic context. Since 1989 it has worked with over 200 villages across 18 countries (including Madagascar, Costa Rica, India, Belize, Cameroon, Colombia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Peru, and Thailand), and reports protecting over 4.44 million acres.
