Community United To Protect Theodore Roosevelt Park Inc

A coalition of more than 5,000 New Yorkers formed to oppose the American Museum of Natural History's Gilder Center expansion into Theodore Roosevelt Park on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The group has pursued legal action, including a 2018 lawsuit that won a temporary restraining order on construction, and continues to advocate to city leadership to protect the park from what it calls irreversible environmental damage.
