Conservancy for Charles County
The Conservancy for Charles County is an all-volunteer, community-based organization dedicated to land conservation in Charles County, Maryland, near Washington, D.C. It protects privately owned scenic, forest, agricultural, and historic land through voluntary donated conservation easements, and engages in community outreach and public policy work supporting open space, farmland, and Chesapeake Bay restoration.
