Coxton Lake Environmental Preserve Clep

The Coxton Lake Environmental Preserve (CLEP) protects 210 acres of forest land in Wayne County, Pennsylvania to prevent pollution of the watershed feeding Coxton Lake and Leech Creek. Formed in the 1990s when local families purchased the threatened Zerebak tract, the preserve operates under conservation easements limiting development to 2 acres per lot, keeping the remainder undeveloped. It is overseen by a board of the lot owners plus one at-large community member, under the aegis of The Delaware Highlands.
