Darien Land Trust

The Darien Land Trust is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has permanently protected 230+ acres in Darien, CT, including wetlands along the Five Mile River, tidal salt marshes at Holly Pond and Scott's Cove, upland forest at Dunlap Woods, and meadow habitats at Mather Meadows, Fox Run, and Brendan's Meadow. It engages the community through monthly "Stewardship Saturdays," guided nature walks, educational events, seasonal internships, and a beekeeping program with 21 hives across 9 properties.
