Delta Conservation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based at Bearitage Farms, a 1,256-acre campus on the L'Anguille River near Newport in eastern Arkansas, building the first research and training center for regenerative agriculture in the Mississippi Delta. It runs trials with Arkansas State University, the University of Arkansas, and the Rodale Institute, including a multi-year USDA-funded study of water-efficient regenerative rice and trials of the indigenous 'Three Sisters' corn-beans-squash method. Its goal is to help Delta farmers adopt regenerative practices that cut erosion, water depletion, and chemical use while improving profitability.
