Door County Land Trust

Since 1986, Door County Land Trust has worked to permanently protect the exceptional lands and waters of Door County, Wisconsin, focusing on native forest communities, the Niagara escarpment, lands that affect Lake Michigan's water quality, and agricultural land. Through conservation easements, land purchases, and donations, it has protected more than 8,600 acres, including 14 nature preserves that are open to the public at no charge for hiking and other low-impact recreation.
