Ducks Unlimited is a nonprofit founded in 1937 that conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats across North America for waterfowl, benefiting other wildlife and people in the process. Its work spans protecting intact wetlands through easements and acquisitions, restoring drained wetlands, and enhancing degraded ones, backed by science, policy advocacy, and fundraising, and has conserved more than 20 million acres since its founding. It operates nationally across all 50 states with about 715,000 members and 31,000 volunteers, plus sister organizations in Canada and Mexico.
