Earthspotter
EarthSpotter is a California nonprofit, founded by Natalie Marcin (JD and MS in Environmental and Ocean Sciences from the University of San Diego), that lets residents report pollution and environmental violations and aggregates public data to track pollution sources across the state. It also pursues Clean Water Act litigation, including a case against BNSF Railway over plastic pellet spills into coastal lagoons, and has supported more than 25 citizen lawsuits against industrial polluters.
