Ecoengineering In Action

Ecoengineering In Action was founded by youth motivated by recurring, devastating wildfires to build solutions integrating science, technology, and ecosystem-design principles, notably constructing beaver dam analogs in fire-burned areas of Northern California to reduce runoff, increase groundwater retention, and expand wetlands. It also hosts workshops and brings ecological engineering into classrooms and communities to build a generation of engineering activists and problem solvers.
