Edisto Island Preservation Alliance

Edisto Island Preservation Alliance (EIPA) is a volunteer-led nonprofit founded in 2007 as an alliance of nine local organizations, serving as Edisto Island's environmental and planning watchdog. It monitors zoning and conservation matters involving government agencies and works to preserve the island's rural, agricultural way of life through community-driven growth control and protection of its historical, cultural, and ecological heritage.
